CHRISTIAN WOMEN’S RETREAT...”Called” is happening October 25-27 in Grand Island. Bonita Shields will present Courage, Character, Commitment, and Confidence for the Call. WOMEN OF a program for women ages 14-114. Our next meeting is on October 7 at 6:30 p.m. in Heartland Hall. For the 1st time in one setting, Alicia Renee Todd will share an eagle’s eye view of her entire testimony. She will reveal how the God of all creation cared enough about her to walk her through childhood abandonments and abuses, teenage performance issues and young adult mishaps created out of her childhood survival techniques, all the while calling her out of generational dysfunction and into a life of victory! MAN coming! A lot of boys grow older and never know what it means or takes to be a man, always faking it hoping no one will ever find them out. This weekend is designed and created in order to stop that in our culture. To help produce godly men who are warriors, kind, and good. This is for 7th-12th-grade men and their dads. MEMORIAL SERVICE...The memorial service to celebrate Robert Compton will be held today at 4:00 p.m. in Heartland Hall. Robert has been part of the CVC family since 1994. He loved this church family.

4TH ANNUAL “A DAY WITH JESUS”...The CVC youth team would like to invite all 7th-12th-grade girls to our annual fall event, “A Day with Jesus”! This year we are “Getting honest” about life and what it looks like to walk daily with Jesus. This weekend is packed with friends, food, fellowship, and activities to help you grow with God.
