Ardyce (Bechthold) Bullock

I have been the secretary of the College View Church since November, 1988. In 1991, I also took over the duties of the church treasurer. I am married to Duaine and he retired as Captain of the Narcotics Unit of the Police Department in January, 2007.

In January 2006, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I am now free and clear of cancer. I thank God everyday for his miracle in my life. I also thank my own family and my church family who were so very supportive and loving.

Duaine and I have one son, Trevor. After playing professional baseball with the Philadelphia Phillies for 2 years, he choose to quit and come home, get married and have a normal life. The REVIEW has published a book about Trevor’s journey. It is called BRUSHED BACK by Ethan Fowler. Not every mom is “lucky? “ enough to have her son write a tell all book! Trevor is the COO for Five Nines Technology here in Lincoln. He just received his Masters in Management (5-15-2011) from Doane College.

He married Carissa Dunn on December 22, 2002. She is the Vice-President for Marketing with the Cornhusker Bank of Lincoln. They have two children:
Gavin Duaine who was born January 20, 2008 and Treyson Douglas who was born on January 18, 2010. We enjoy these two little guys very much. What fun it is to be grandparents.

I still enjoy my job here at the church. I also enjoy reading and traveling.
