Mission Statement

COME ALIVE is a health ministry inspired by Christ’s example to help others experience health and wholeness of mind, body and spirit.

COME ALIVE Vision Statement

Large enough to help the community, small enough to help one person at a time.  A health ministry responsive to the changing needs around us.

COME ALIVE Goals:

  1. Share survey results
  2. Educate congregation about COME ALIVE
  3. Promote health ministry as a concept as well as participation
  4. Support training opportunities
  5. Invite volunteers to assist with implementation
  6. Provide general health education
  7. Provide a visible & accessible point of contact for health concerns
  8. Celebrate participation
  9. Promote involvement in healthy lifestyle activities
  10. Begin building a database of health resources
  11. Evaluate programs for effectiveness & interest

Blood pressure screening is offered on the 2nd and 4th Sabbath of each month following 1st service (10:30-11:00) and before 2nd service (11:30-12:00). Health information is available at the COME ALIVE blood pressure table located in the lobby by the elevator.  Different topics are offered each time. Health professionals staff the COME ALIVE station, so stop on by, gather information, have your pressure checked or just visit for a while.
